The kendama is a traditional Japanese skill toy with thousands of trick variations. Kendama tricks are done by sequential variations of catching and throwing the ball in the 3 cups, spiking the ball (in a center hole), balancing, and manipulating. Mastering the Kendama develops focus, concentration, creativity and of course juggling / object manipulation skills.
The Ozora Kendama is crafted in hardwood and is approved by the Japanese
Kendama Association for competition use. In this Official Japanese model, the
crosspiece is not affixed to the handle.
