Contact poi are used for standard poi moves along with tosses and contact juggling techniques. Our new, revolutionary construction features an engineered and custom manufactured fitting assembly: stainless steel couplers hold each rope section and are joined by a ball bearing swivel which prevents the twisting of the rope and facilitates many advanced tricks such as orbitals.
Each deluxe model Contact Poi has a molded spherical knob handle with a custom machined stainless steel counterweight. Weight can be adjusted with additional steel washers (included)—disassemble the sleeve coupler by simply removing a small set screw. A high quality braided nylon rope connects between knob, couplers and a hollow stage ball which is manufactured in flexible vinyl. Ball, knob and counterweight system are all weighted for proper control, balance and performance. A standard model is available without the ball bearing assembly. Ball in choice of 3 sizes and 6 colors for either model. Length can be customized on request.
